| For over 12 years, Matthew Lester Photography has been telling the stories of the higher education and health care industries by capturing the natural interactions that occur all around us. I take a great amount of pride in showing the energy, vibrancy and life on campuses and in classrooms, while also exploring the compassion and caring that exists between a patient and their caregiver. All too often, commercial photography for the health care and higher education market is static and lifeless. I focus on creating images that are natural and give viewers a sense of place and depth. My work has taken me from Afghan mountain villages and rural Haiti to places like the National Institutes of Health in Washington, DC. In each photograph I take, I strive to honor the people captured as they devote themselves to their work and the world that they live in. Infused with a lifelong passion for learning, I relish the opportunity to work and collaborate with a wide array of people ranging from art directors and project managers to directly with my clients. My flexible shooting style and personal work ethic pairs well with clients who are seeking a creative solution and quality photography. |
